On June 11, 2022 a Cane is More Than a Crutch training was held at the War Memorial Cultural Arts and Community Center in Powhatan, VA.  We had the privilege to train Veterans representing every branch of the service.

Grand Master Mark Shuey Sr., the founder of the American Cane System and Cane Fu, visited Powhatan to present this program to our Veterans. Mission BBQ graciously provided lunch to all participants. The event was well attended, and everyone had a great time and learned a lot!
